Magical Moment

Today's dog blog is devoted to two magical moments. 

The first is from a few months ago, when Madeleine was the flower girl at Neil and Elizabeth's wedding.

The second is from the past weekend, when we all went down to the Pacific Colosseum to see a handsome prince on skates. Now I know what you're thinking, isn't Trevor Linden retired...

Of course, he is! What we actually saw was Disney on Ice (home of the $12 snow cone!)

Pa(w)'s Birthday Celebration and Special Milestone

Well today was the first day of snow and in Canada that can only mean one thing: barbeque!

Coincidentally it was also the day to celebrate Pa(w)'s birthday.

 Aaron and Penny joined Baby M, or Toddler M in the celebration.

 Here comes the cake!

Going to the zoo, we can stay all day.

This past weekend was the perfect time for a little cross-border shopping and a trip to the best little zoo in the Pacific Northwest: The Woodland Park Zoo. They have no basset hounds in captivity.

Beauty and the Beast

Hey wait just a minute?!? Are you telling me that time we spent down in Steveston on Saturday wasn't actually Halloween! Well, to make a long story short, apparently the last blog title was in error and all that trick-or-treating was just a warm up for the real thing. Thinking I was out of the woods, I let my guard down and next thing you know, HOT DOG! 

The reoccurrence of the hot dog getup was the bad news. The good news was Baby M got another shot at being Belle.

 Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme.

Mom's pumpkin wasn't bad, but it was Dad's Justin Bieber Jack-o-Lantern that was the real hit of the night (it's the one on the left in case you don't know who Justin Bieber is).
