We'll always have Paris

After ten glorious days in our modest little villa, we headed North to visit gai Paris. Here's the whole gang waiting for the TVG. 800 kilometres in three hours, no joke.
Here's Mom and Dad in front of Notre Dame.
Yes we went up there.

 The bells, the bells!
Why didn't the make the Paris Opera House any fancier?
A very fine name for a boulevard indeed!
Open this door! (It's the entrance to the Madeleine church)
Madeleine in front of the Madeleine Church.
Either way you go, you win.
The big M with her Annou and Daddy.
Arc de Triomphe
Mirabelle loved it for some reason or another.
Open air bus tour is the way to go down the Champs Elysses.
No trip to Paris is complete without checking out Montmartre.
And it is even better when you get a tour from some real Parisians.
It was nice to see Tante Diana and Oncle Richardo in their back yard.
Looks like almost everyone is still digging the bus tour.
Last stop.
Top of the Eiffel Tower.
Flat Stanley loved it.
So did Madeleine (check out the very apropos shirt!)
Take me to Versailles! (maybe next time)
What do you think? Did she fit in? Mais oui!
A final three sweet shots to send us home.

Au Revoir Provence

This is the living room of the place where we are staying in Provence.
Actually, I'm pulling your leg. It was another medieval castle for Madeleine to explore.
 No peeking!
 With Annou.
All of the above was located in a small town called Gordes. Here it is. Not much to look at eh?
Madeleine loves her Mama.
And her Daddy.
This is the view from the top.

Annou helps Madeleine get a better look.
 Mirabelle enjoys some local refreshments.
The famous Abbaye de Senanque.
 A typical breakfast over here.
Two croissants for Miss Madeleine s'il vous plait.
 Relaxing outdoors with Daddy.
Madeleine in front of Abbaye de Sainte-Madeleine.
A building this nice could only be called Madeleine.
 Inside.
 Mirabelle and another Provence dress.
If it is hot, take a dip in the pool.
Or have a cold cold beer.
Madeleine shares a Kir Royale with Opa.
Adieu Provence. Next stop, Paris.

C'est La Vie!

Here's almost the entire family on the Bridge of Avignon. And you know what the people do there right?
Right, they pose for pictures with cute babies.
 Kidding, they dance of course.
More posing on the famous bridge.
 Flat Stanley makes an appearance.

A shadowy and mysterious figure guards the entrance of the Palais des Papes in Avignon.
Madeleine enjoys a moment of repose.
Madeleine is loving the medieval sites.
Mirabelle likes sleeping through the tours of the medieval sites.
 Big M with Opa.
 Big M with Jesus.
 Take a seat.
In the courtyard of the Palais.
They had an old Merry-Go-Round, and by now you all know who loves those right?
 Dad.
 HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
 Feet and pool.
 M & M in Provence style dresses.
Where can I get some croissant?
Dad and M in in random old French town whose name escapes me right now.
Mom and Mirabelle in the Roman Amphitheatre in Arles. The day before they had an old fashioned bull fight here. No kidding.
This is where the people sit. Better for posing methinks.
Outside the coliseum for some lunch.
 More posing in Roman ruins.
Madeleine bows after finishing her soliloquy from the ancient Roman tragedy of Dora Saves the Mermaids.
 Annou and Opa centre stage.
Awake again and this time in a different Provencial outfit.
In the wine fields of the real Chateau-Neuf-Du-Pape.
 Mmm, French chocolate.
Mirabelle is having a great time with here Mom and Dad.
Check back soon for more updates!
