Well an event of unspeakable sadness occurred recently, when on the day of Madeleine's 5th birthday party she awoke to a mild case of the Chicken Pox.
Alas, the Ariel-themed party was aborted at the last minute. Fortunately, Madeleine was a good sport about it all, and the cake proved to be delicious nevertheless.
In other birthday news. Hard as it is to believe, cousin Gwenoviere is about to turn 1. She had her party yesterday. Fortunately, the chicken pox have cleared and it was time to party.
Belly wishes her cousin the warmest of birthday wishes. The pool in the background would soon be the scene of a minor disaster when Nana intentionally pushed Mirabelle in it. (Just kidding, she pushed her by mistake).
