Hello there loyal dog blog readers. There is no theme to this post really, just some decent photographs.
The basset hound motto: gravity is your best friend, always be ready for some table scraps, even the smallest crumb!
Out of the way, Madeleine is driving this bus!
Action shot!
Madeleine loves Mukmuk almost as much as Quatchi. Bring on the Olympics.

Hot time, summer in the city.
After a long and arduous Canadian winter, summer has finally arrived!
Actually, it is still mid-January, but due to some bizarre act of God, it sure as heck felt like summer today. Let the shedding begin! What better way to celebrate this singular day than by taking a nice walk with some friends. Fresh from exotic voyages to India and Saskatchewan, Sid and Kara dropped by for some brie and strawberry French toast and stayed for a nice stroll (they were even kind enough to allow for an unrequested borrowing of their wedding album).

Abandonment!
This weekend my parents took off on a ski retreat. Dogs, as is generally known don't ski, so I wasn't all that upset about it and even agreed to loan out my camera to my parents. Although, I must say, the so called "shack" my Dad said he would be staying at, was um well, have a look:
Ready for some tubin'!
Dad with Pauline D'Eldon

There is a story behind this picture, ask Dad nicely and maybe he'll tell you one day. Hint! The tale involves the two holding wine in the picture.
The conditions were absolutely perfect, for skiing that is. Look at that snow! Gimme the fireplace.

Here, Opa read the Baby M her favourite bedtime story.
A final picture in front of the tree before Opa and Grandma go back to Toronto.
Speaking of Toronto, Aunt Sarah came by for a visit.
Best friends forever.
