So this is Mirabelle's first Halloween and I've let her in on the secret that Mom and Dad love to dress up their kids (both canine and homosapien) in truly mortifying outfits. The secret is to hideout and hope that they can't find you until November 1.
Here is Madeleine. Behold!
Kisses for baby sister.
Art-house shot.
Look out Mirabelle, they might have costumes in hand!
Well they got her. Owl costume, eh? At least it matches her room.
Pretty cute and at least it wasn't me.
Looks like they got Madeleine too. She-ra: the Princess of Power...
Shamelessly copied the same night by famous socialite and gadabout extraordinaire Paris Hilton.
The advantage to getting dressed up is, I suppose, that they give away candy. Here is Madeleine and Dad on a practice run in Steveston on Saturday. If you're lucky, I may convince Dad to let me put up a shot of him in his sure-to-be embarrassing costume (Hint, She-ra's twin brother).
Mirabelle the Owl with Nana and Papa.
Annou and Opa flew all the way out for a little trick or treating.
Family portrait.
The other key component of Halloween aside from costumes are pumpkins. So off to the Richmond Pumpkin Patch. So much fun, you feel the need to go again right away.
Good one!
Two beauties.
Loving the fall weather.
Look out for the Great Pumpkin.
Too adorable for words.
She outdid herself with this beauty pose.
Madeleine is ready for the real thing tomorrow. Check back soon for more sweet pictures (hopefully I'll manage to stay hidden for one more day and there won't be any of me in some ridiculous getup).
