Niagara Falls.

There is a place in southern Ontario in Niagara Falls.  In case you have been living under a rock. Niagara Falls is home to one of the most amazing places in the world. People come from far and wide to visit it and behold it's splendour. Some say that it is in fact the eighth wonder of the world. The place is the Great Wolf Lodge.
They have water slides.
Mirabelle loved the aqua action.
Although she was also keen for 40 winks.
There was also a kid's spa, where Annou treated Princess Madeleine to a special afternoon treat.

It's like Where's Waldo, but this time it's Where's Madeleine.
Relaxing in the big chair.
Madeleine with Violet.
Look out for that moose!
Madeleine was a real pro at the mini golf. Check out that follow through!

Dad thought that this ride was amazing.
Madeleine cleaned up at the arcade; look at all those tickets!
She had enough to buy this sweet Tinker Bell puzzle.
All done. Thumbs up!
Of course, we actually took a wee break from all the fun and took in the real Niagara Falls.
As seems to be an increasingly popular feature of this dog blog, we end with random Mirabelle cuteness.

Great Adventure!!

On Saturday we left on our great adventure. After an hour and a half delay because the airplane door came off, we set off! Madeleine entertained her sister on the way to...

 Toronto!
The purpose of the trip is of course to show off baby Mirabelle. Which Dad does quite proudly.
And of course Madeleine is always ready to up the cuteness factor.
It is always a pleasure to see Aunt Liesa.

Dad knows how to relax. Truly the perfect paradigm of the man of leisure.

Today there was a special trip.
 To Centre Island!!

Where there is an amusement park!
 Outta my way!

Don't worry Madeleine, it's just a quiet river ride...
 not!
They never told Dad what was on the other side, jokes on him.

 Donkey riding!
By the way today was Dad's birthday...
but as a special present to everyone, here is a bonus photo of Mirabelle!

Pampers and Campers

This past weekend Madeleine took us all for a drive...

... into the rugged BC wilderness.
 Mirabelle loves her some camping.

The key to any successful family camping outing is to share the responsibilities. Mirabelle tends to the fire, as any five month old should. Obviously.
 Madeleine fries the bacon.
 Everyone had a great time.
The lake was freezing, but we had a fun day at the beach.

Papa taught Miss Madeleine the fine art of s'moring.
 Outdoor bath time!!

Five months old, Canada Day and other things

Look who turned 5 months old! Can you believe it.
Madeleine, as you probably know by now, can be very serious.
 Or not so much.
She also makes for a comfortable resting spot for her baby sister.
 To the side.
 Face forward.

Now this is the way you're supposed to spend Canada Day. If only the weather would get the message that it is summer now.
 Matching outfits.

 Matching cuteness.
