And the Oscar Goes To...

Madeleine woke up this morning thinking that it was going to be just another ho-hum day.
Boy was she wrong. Leave it to a Burns man to fill her in...
 It's Oscar time baby!
Cue the costumes! As inspired by the Hawaiian location of the Descendents, presenting the Pineapple Princess.
Why have one, when you can have two? The sweetest girls I've seen, someday they're going to marry and they'll be the Pineapple Queens.
Best part of the night? Maybe the food?!?
The whole gang dressed to kill.

This is Mirabelle's second Oscar night, if you can believe that?!? Wow. Here she be with the Tree of Life and Peppy Miller from the Artist.
The Princesses with the Duck from War Horse and Hemingway from Midnight in Paris ("Do you box?")
And of course me, the Artist, which won the whole thing. But if you really ask me what the best movie of the year was...

 This masterpiece.

They thought that they could keep a Burns-man down

No way! $500 later and I'm ready to roll. Less lumpy too.
It may look like she hasn't got many teeth, but you should see her eat.
Madeleine shows in the cutest way possible why being in a hurry, socks, stairs, hardwood flooring and skin that bruises easily don't go well together.

Still all smiles or as she so precisely and concisely puts it "I'm okay!"

Is there anything sweeting than the M sisters in their pyjamas?
 Didn't think so.

Now she is one

I know that it is hard for you to believe, but Mirabelli is now one. Just amazing.
She's grown up so incredibly quickly. Look! She can slide...
 and Drive.
 Queen Madeleine.
 Yummy cupcakes.
Big M helping out little M.
Madeleine with her Annou and Opa.
 Three happy ladies
 "I'm ready for my presents!"
 "Oh that's a big one".
Here are some photos I took of the birthday girl and her family.

 Cake time.

WE LOVE YOU MIRABELLE.
