Father's Day Celebration

Father and son. Hopefully one day he can forgive me for sleeping on the couch, eating the food off the table, emitting the most noxious of odours, stealing socks, wrecking the grass, destroying many bouncy balls, being lazy, being grumpy, not listening, complaining and generally spending every waking moment being annoying. Hey, nobody's perfect right?

With so much sleeping to do, it is hard for a old basset hound like myself to keep up the pace I once had. This is probably the longest hiatus ever for this blog. To make up for it, here is the most pictures I've posted in a long while. Starting with the cutest ice cream truck you'll ever see.

 We recently had a little road trip, this is the she-wolf mascot of the Great Wolf Lodge. 

Madeleine of course loved the water slides!

Belly was more into the skidoo.

We went to Portland and paid a visit to the world famous VooDoo doughnuts.

The Portland Zoo was nifty too. Where they let you get right up close to all the animals...

And finally, after an unexpected bout of the chicken pox delayed the festivities somewhat. Madeleine finally had her Little Mermaid Birthday party.

Her old friend from day care, Twiggy, was a featured guest.
