Hello to you loyal dog blog readers. This Halloween there will be NO pictures of yours truly in costume. When you get to be my age, that is just plain silly! Plus, lucky for me Madeleine is very game to dress up.

As a warm up for the real thing, Baby M had a go as a lady bug.

Again, a bit slow on the blog front recently, and this one ain't gonna win too many awards, but the good news is that we are entering into prime photo-op season. That means that surely to goodness there will some more postings in the near future.

Great Pumpkin

It is that special time of year, when the Great Pumpkin rises from the pumpkin patch to give all the boys and girls who have been waiting for him, buckets-full of presents.

Madeleine and I are always game for some presents, so off we go to the local pumpkin patch.
"... hmm that Great Pumpkin has to be around here somewhere?!?"
"Hey Sienna, have you seen the Great Pumpkin around here today?"
"Maybe he's hiding under this one..."

"Rumour has it that someone saw him this way!"

"He's got to be around here somewhere."
"Ah-ha, a smashed pumpkin, only the Great Pumpkin could have the strength to carry out such a wanton act of destruction!"
"Ah well, I give up. Time to enjoy some music!"
"And now, we clap!"
"Well, even if I didn't see the Great Pumpkin, at least they have pony rides."
