Vive La France

So after a nine hour airplane flight, a horrible four hours at Charles De Gaulle airport (although everyone probably has that experience at that place) and then a three hour train ride, we all arrived safe and sound in the south of France.

So far, we've had some amazing sunny weather as you can see.
 Madeleine in some Roman ruins.
Time for a little sitting on a two thousand year old toilet.
When in Rome, as they say.
 Madeleine on the stage.
 Nice, eh?
 Archaeologist extraordinaire!
All smiles of course. No bribe required.
Mmm, doesn't get more French than outdoor crepes and Coca Cola?
Mirabelle is having a great time on this holiday.
As you can see, she is all smiles, all the time.
My family on a hilltop view at Le Barroux, home of a really old castle.
 M with her grandparents.
 Strike a pose!
 Mirabelle hitching a ride.
 Pretty spectacular, no?
And to think, this was only day two of the visit?
A view of the castle on top of the hill.
 A Madeleine-sized door.

Dad and Mirabelle relaxing outside our little shack.
Mom and Mirabelle catching some rays.
 Day three, winery visit!
Mirabelle enjoyed the behind the scenes tour.
This vineyard had real grape vines!
Here are our red wines to taste.
 Cuteness!
Here is Jean-Louis our loquacious guide.
Ready to ship, but look out, she's fragile.
 Hey, who's that?!
 Grapes on the vine. Nice!
Check back soon for more adventures.
