Movie star!!!

I know that it has been a while since my last blog update, but you see, I've been working hard on my quadruple feature!

The bonus is that all four short films star the one and only Baby M, so not only is quality assured, but cuteness too is guaranteed.

Presenting:

The Hat

The Fish

The Disappearing Act

Seattle.

On the way home from Hawai'i, we stopped in Seattle, home of grunge music, Microsoft, Starbucks and wild horses.

Oh, and this thing which was built for some sort of fair. Baby M liked it.
Lunch time.
At the famous farmers market.

Bigger Island

The Big Island is home to lots and lots of black volcano rocks...

... and pretty flowers.

I issued a challenge to Baby M, count the sand.
Island breeze.

Dad and Madeleine go explorin'
Check out the sweet dress.
Madeleine says: "Boring!!! Enough pictures, lets hit the beach!"

Beach!!!

Mom and Madeleine by the Lost Lagoon

Time for one last kiss good bye...
and one last dip in the ocean.

The Big Island

The final stop in the Hawai'i island-hopping tour is the Big Island, and it looks like we've saved the best for last.
Madeleine obviously loves Palm trees!
What a ham! Mmm, ham.
The best part about the Big Island is that all the street lights are flaming tiki lamps.
I took this great picture of the family.
Notice the outfit coordination.
All hail Queen Madeleine.
Baby M meets Baby Palm.
Unfortunately, no bassets or babies allowed on the water slide.
A top-optional beach. Dad wisely opted.
Treasure!
Whew vacationing is hard work!

Maui (Madeleine's 18th Month Birthday)

Hawai'i has many islands, today the family was off to one called Maui. And when I say today, I mean today because it was literally a day trip. There and back again in 12 hours. Maui is beautiful, smaller than Oahu (and yet still has a Costco?!? - that means it's Cobbler's favourite Hawaiian island). It was beautiful and quite the adventure. Baby threw a hissy-fit and the VISA went awol but aside from that, it was an awesome day; check out the aftereffects of the earthquake off the coast of Samoa in the background. Glad the family survived the tsunami warning.
Mom gives Madeleine some love; hopefully someday she'll remember how much I love tummy rubs.
Madeleine returns the favour.

Watching the waves.
And feeding the fishies.
Ohh, the legendary shave ice, which immediately preceded what will so be known as the legendary Baby M meltdown.
Madeleine spies a strange creature.
Madeleine stakes a stroll through the botanical garden.
Tiki!!!
