Nation's Capital

Forgive the long delay since the last post, I've been traveling across the country...to the place of my Dad's birth: Ottawa.
 Mom in front of Parliament.
Madeleine loved the Senate.
The reason for the trip was so that one of my sisters could be a flower girl in Paul and Nancy's wedding. No, not Mirabelle. She's still in training for her first gig; although it looks like she's be able to handle it no problemo!
 Madeleine and the wedding party.
 With the ring-bearer, Christopher.
Mom and Mirabelle enhance the cuteness factor ten fold.
 What a cute pair.
This is how not to be a flower girl.
This is how to be a flower girl.
 Bubbles!
Christopher check to make sure that the flowers smell okay.
 Romance is in the air.
Make way for the flower girl.
While the wedding kept us busy, there was a little bit of time to see some friends.

Aunt Liesa.
 Uncle Shaun.

 Chillin' like a villain.
 Mirabelle is ready for summer.
 Everybody into the pool!
We also got a chance to visit with Oma.
As you can see, the sun was out in Ottawa. Send it to the West Coast!
 Aunt Janet was there too.
 More bubbles!!
It was nice to see Oma, but the visit was too short!
Mirabelle also got to meet with her Greatgrandma and Greatgrandad, and again the visit was too short.

Lastly:
GO CANUCKS!

Happy Birthday to Anna

Happy birthday to the Anna! The best Mama on the planet.
And what better way to celebrate her birthday than with a trip to Steveston (no photos), watching the Canucks destroy the Sharks (no pictures), and enjoying the ponies at the ol' Hastings racetrack. Photos provided!!
No place or show for this cute one!

 Happy as a rainbow.
 Who is this little baby?
 M & M.
 M & M & M.
Mirabelle is now 16 weeks old, if you can believe it.
Getting more and more cute with each day,

Go, go Vancouver Canucks!!!!

M and M having a blast hanging out together.
 Party at our house.

 Darn cute!
These two love birds are gettin' hitched. Guess who is going to be the flower girl?
Hmm, Mirabelle worries about the Canucks' chances against the Sharks?
Nah, she says Vancouver in 5.

It been a busy couple of weeks.

Peruse through these pictures and see what we've been up to for the past couple of weeks.

There was a trip to the zoo!
We went with our excellent companions Sid and Kara.
Look out, moose on the loose.
Of course there was a royal wedding, which Mirabelle really enjoyed.
Almost as much as she enjoyed the cake Mama made her for her 3 month birthday.
"It was yummy Mama, thank you!"
Opa popped by for a wee visit.
A Mirabelle was happy to see him.
The spring has been slow to come this year to BC, but this weekend it might just have finally arrived. Madeleine has the green thumb!

Of course today was Mother's Day and the men wisely decided that instead of cooking breakfast, everyone could go out and they'd let someone else do all the work!
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
