On the 4th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 4 Santa pictures

You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout, I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming to town.

08 December 2011

On the first day of Chirstmas my true love gave to me, a basset in a pear tree.

Tis the season loyal dog blog followers, so with promises of more routine updates to follow, I give you the Hunt for the Tree and other daring adventures.
No snow on the ground, but otherwise the weather was fine for some tree chopping.
 Beauty.
This one's a little small, but Madeleine liked it, so Nana and Papa get a pass.
Madeleine is definitely in the cool Christmas spirit
Yup, she's a nine footer alrighty. Here's the before and after for dramatic effect.
Me and my family. Ho, ho, ho.

In other news, Mirabelle continues to sprout like a weed.
So does Madeleine for that matter. Here she is at dinner showing her little sister how to eat spaghetti.
Hmm, looks like she's got the hang of it.
 Yup, most definitely.

It has been a while....

As you can see from above, I am pooped. The time changed, the days got short, and I have no energy to blog. I apologize to my loyal dog blog readers for the delay in posting.
While I may have no energy, the girls do and, gosh are they excited. I think it may have something to do with the festive Christmas season that is upon us and the excess of chocolate in this house.
Mirabelle was jazzed that the BC Lions won the 99th Grey Cup (and on home turf). Go Lions!

She also turned 10 months old on Wednesday. Crazy!

Fall is here!

Fall is one of my four favourite seasons. The red Starbucks cups are out, so I'm counting on an increased frequency of those amazing long walks to Steveston. The multi-coloured leaves have made a lovely carpet in our back yard, thereby concealing my daily deposits. My parents love that. Actually in all seriousness, fall provides some amazing backgrounds for some totally rad photographs.
Check this one!
Or how about this incredible picture?
Actually a confession. I didn't take the above three photos. They are compliments of Monique who will also be shooting our Christmas pictures soon, so stay tuned for that.

Now, here's some of my recent handiwork! Who's driving this bus?!? Look out!
Lorna and George are here for a visit.
All smiles.

Trick or Treat

Hello out there dog blog readers. Halloween came and went. Lucky for me, Mom and Dad were completely preoccupied with the sisters, so I managed to escape largely uncostumed. Phew.
Me and the not so little anymore Mirabelle.
 With Opa
Happy 9 month birthday. Check out the matching outfits!
It was a short but lovely visit by Annou and Opa.
Not only standing up, but dancing already.
 He-man and She-ra.
Halloween was awesome. Bring on Christmas.
