Aloha!

Say "hello" to what must be my largest posting ever. I'll keep the comments short so that there more time to enjoy the pictures.

On the plane to Hawaii.
 Madeleine was not excited.
 Mama makes flying fun!
 Ready for sun and surf!
 Get it?!?
Hugging the palm trees. Look in the archives for a similar shot...
 Loving the Turtle Bay.
 Jumping Madeleine Flash
 Hammock time.
 Born to be tropical.
Does it get any better than this? Maybe if there was a bone or two, but other than that, probably not.
 Lovely!
Beware, you go in but you may never come out!
 The famous Pineapple Princess.
 My three favourite ladies.
 Having a blast.
It was windy but Dad holds on to M1 super tight.
M2 was all about the sand.
 Thinking about hanging ten?
Hawaii is the place for love...
 and super smiles.
 Ladybugs into the pool!
"No dogs allowed on the waterslide." BOOO!
 Creepy Easter Bunny
There were filming a movie at the Resort, and I snapped a photo of the star.
 They had everything, even ponies.
It may not look like it, but this is the local delicacy. Scrumptious.
Even Mirabellie can't turn down a garlic shrimp from Giovanni's

 Frog-girl.

 That's how they roll.
The "Lost" banyan tree. Where's Locke?
 Matching outfits are a must.

Turtle Bay was an absolute blast.
She made the lei herself! Beauty.
Aloha for now. Check back soon for the second half of our adventure. Waikiki here we come.

Happy 4th birthday Madeleine

Can you believe that our Madeleine has turned four? Just amazing how quickly the time has gone by. For her birthday party Little Miss Madeleine had a special request for the theme of her party, which if you are familiar with the typical 4 year old girl's request, you ought to be able to guess quite easily...
Star Wars, of course.
Yes that's right, we're talking Star Wars, the original and not that rubbish that was put our a while back. Check out the sweet cupcakes
The theme extended to many of her presents too, and the bed sheet set is not even pictured!
She also got some pretty cool non-Star Wars stuff. Check out the gigantic castle, I think I could even fit in there.
Yes, Annou and Opa made it our all the way from Toronto. Little doubt they would be missing this birthday bash.
Nana and Papa were on hand to celebrate.
As were Aaron and Penny, the generous culprits responsible for much of the Star Wars loot.
And of course, Mama, Daddy and Mirabelle.
 What a beautiful little girl!
 The whole gang.
Now that Madeleine is four, she can participate in the Canadian right of passage that is...
Skating lessons. Just in time for our trip to Hawaii too.
 I like this picture.
We also had the chance to check out the new and improved World of Science where, imagine this, things now actually work.
They had a pretty nifty dinosaur display. T-rexes and bassets don't usually mix, but I had a pretty decent time.
Queen of the castle.
A throne big enough for three.
Laser beam!
It looks like next year's birthday party theme might be jurassic!
"Hello!"
If you've even been in my sister's room, you'll know why she's pointing here.
Good night and we'll see you in Hawaii!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Well, it wouldn't have been a decent St. Patrick's Day if I managed to do the post the day of, now would it.

Mirabelle showed off her Irish colours.
We had some friend's over for some fun and Irish stew. Here's M1 with her pal Ada.
The two little sister join in for the next shot.
 Hugs for Mama.
Two out of three smiles ain't bad!
Here's a random shot of our walk to Steveston.
