Life is a beach

Welcome to the 2013 and Burns man tour of the local beaches. First off, Richmond beach Gary Point.
Not much sand, but the view is awesome and so is the fish and chips.
 Madeleine and her friend Elie
Every so often, I let someone else borrow the camera. It's hard work don't your know, always taking pictures. Here's a shot someone snapped of yours truly with Madeleine after a long and hot walk. A very long and very hot walk. Don't they know I'm almost 10! Sheesh.
Richmond beaches are pretty good, but they've got nothing on the Vancouver beaches and their girl-eatting sand.
 Yikes.
Belly just came for the view.
 And the popsicle.
 And the sun.

Summer update

What to do on a rainy day? How about feeding ducks!
 Baby ducks!
 Mama and M2
 Kidding around
 Yummy strawberries.
 Canada Day.
Best view of the world' longest parade.
 Belly was dressed to celebrate.
 Cuteness.
Liesa and Steven joined in for the festivities.
One girl in a sleeping bag,
second girl in a sleeping bag. That can only mean one thing...
 Waterslides!
Belly is a big fan just like her sister.
 Catching some rays.
 Looks like fun.
And what is better after a hard day of watersliding than ice cream?
 Nothing, that's what.
 The only way to travel.
 Relaxing by the camp fire.
 Mama and M1.
And lastly, the recent harvest from the local garden.
