Oscar Night

One of the most important events of the year around my place are the Academy Awards. Here I am getting my pre-game massage.
Why have one Frozen princess when you can have two?
The cold never bothered me anyway.
 Uhh. What. Is. Going. On?!?
 My family
 The whole gang.
 Bellie, being Bellie.
Actually, this is Bellie being Bellie.
 Lexie's first Oscar party...
and she missed the whole thing.

Preview of the 2022 Olympics

Inspired by the recent amazing success of the Canadians in the Sochi Olympics, Madeleine has set her sights on the podium!

Looking good!
While M1 is learning to do spread eagles and daffys, this is what Dad is up to.
Thanks to Uncle Neil and Aunt Elizabeth, Madeleine got to experience her first apres ski.
Go Canada!
In other news, welcome little Alexandria to the world. Yes, yet another cute girl.
Live early morning pic of M1 and Daddy watching the gold medal hockey game.

Mirabelle Turns Three and Other Adventures

 How fast they grow up.
I'm not sure who is more excited about the giant Elmo.
The Birthday Girl with her grandparents.
 Both sets
 Smiles all around.
How to celebrate turning three? Why not a trip to the aquarium.
 Fits like a glove.
 Belugas make Belly happy.
Photo bomb.

M2 says 'Welcome to the year of the horse.'

01 January 2014

December, come and gone.

It has been a whirlwind December in my house. We has an epic snow fall (well epic for the Lower Mainland at least.)
My two sisters took the chance to make an amazing snowman.
When they were not engaging in snowman construction, they were relaxing.
 Spot of tea governor?

No need for sugar to make this any sweeter.
Of course there is always the annual trip to the Bamboo Grove.
 With Nana
and Papa. No Lazy Susan disasters this year.
This is our house set up for Christmas (just kidding).
Annou and Opa fresh off the plane from the U.K. came out to spend Christmas with us.
Yup, the Christmas spirit was all around.
Hmm, Santa must not have been paying close enough attention.
 Future ski bum
Of course, I was extra good this year and Santa didn't let me down.
Fit for the cover of GQ.

 Super cuteness
 Dad and his Mum.
 Mom and Dad
I took this great family shot. Perfect except for the beet-red and blurring geezer in the back row.
 SO LAZY!
 Belly's first time on skates!
M1 sends you off with her beautiful smile.
