M1's First Music Video.

This is Madeleine's first attempt at writing a song and recoding a music video. It was fortuitously recorded on video. Not too shabby considering that she was writing it as she is going along. Maybe a little bit too much angst for a 6 year old, but then again maybe the world has had enough of the fake-pop rubbish that dominates the airwaves for some inexplicable reason and is ready for the new Nirvana. Birthdays galore

As hard as it might be to believe, Madeleine is now 6. Amazing, I know.

 How did she grow up so fast?!? 

 Her sister is always ready for a good party...

 Just as long as Opa is willing to feed her like the princess she is.

 In case you had not figured it out, Scooby Doo was the theme.

Of course, there was also an Easter egg hunt recently, and this year Bellie was up for the challenge.

Madeleine was no slouch however.

In the end the spoils were about even, and probably enough to last until next Easter.

M1 had her birthday party a the Ladner gym and it was a swinging party.

Even the old man couldn't resist.

But had to be rescued.

 There was quite the turnout for the party.

Then there was Gwen's second birthday party. This year Nana pushed papa into the pool and once again it was Bellie to the rescue.

Theme Park Extravaganza

For March break we had the trip to remember. Nothing but theme parks, unless you count the theme parked cruise ship! The pictures are in no particular order and may be missing captions here and there (or everywhere) because there are so many of them that to rearrange them would take forever and a day. Enjoy.

We had gorgeous weather almost the entire time we were there. Made for many, many great photo opportunities.

 This one was a turning point for M2, so began the end of the fear of Disney characters. Thanks Donald.

 Also it took to put the fear to bed forever was a little Minnie.

 Universal was kind of an afterthought of this trip, but it was amazing.

 Oddly enough, even though she has never seen a minute of the Simpsons, it was her favourite.

 Stitch was another of Bellie's highlights.
