Well I just got off the phone with the good folks at the Oxford English Dictionary. After they recovered from the initial surprise that a basset hound was not only Madeleine's agent but could also operate a telephone, we got down to the business at hand.
You see, word of Baby M's cuteness had reached across the Atlantic and the OED wanted in on the action. To make a long story short, as of 2009 the dictionary will no longer contain a written entry for "cute", but rather will simply feature the following three pictures.
