Shhhhhhh...

When Irish eyes are smiling...
Earlier this week I gathered Madeleine aside and explained to her the major significance of the 17th of March. Of course, it is most well-known for commemorating the day of the patron Saint of Ireland. He was solely responsible for the expulsion of serpents from Ireland and now provides an excuse to engage in mindless alcohol-fuelled revelry, no matter what day of the week the 17th happens to fall upon. While it is also Uncle Neil's birthday, it is also the day that Mom and Dad met, some nine years ago at Pub O'Chretien.
Pa(w) and Madeleine.
Lots of green.
Grandma and Baby M.
What do you think of my hat?
Check out the hair clips!
Madeleine sings a little Irish ditty.
Today (the 18th) is also an important historical date as it was my sister's due date last year. Here's the family today.
And through the magic of the flux capacitor, we go back in time exactly one year to the same spot.
Everyone, including Madeleine is just about done with winter, bring on the springtime.

Shhhhhhh...
Shhhhhhh...
